Inspired by poet Linpu's (林逋 of Song dynasty) poem"The Little Plum Blossom of Hill Garden" (山園小梅).
"Their scattered shadows fall lightly on clear water, their subtle scent pervades the moonlight dusk."
The plum blossom is seen as a symbol of winter and a harbinger of spring symbolise perseverance and hope, as well as beauty, purity, and the transitions of life.
In Confucianism, the plum blossom stands for the principles and values of virtue.
