For the leaves, I used Pomo method to create different abstract from my other paintings.
Lotus flower has deep symbolic meaning of purity, rebirth and eternity in Chinese culture. There is a famous saying from Song dynasty scholar: 出污泥而不染 It means "Growing out of mud, the lotus blooms pure and untainted".
