Chinese brush painting (sumi-e), painted by myself in Brighton, UK
Blissful Moment: is an original Chinese painting, or sumi-e art in another word of Plum blossoms and the bright moon. Hand painted on Xuan paper in freshly ground natural ink.
Lantern festival, called Yuan Xiao festival 元宵節 in China, aims to promote reconciliation, peace, and forgiveness. The holiday marks the first full moon of the new lunar year and the end of the Chinese New Year.
Traditionally, Chinese people go out to flower market, lantern quiz event night, of course eat a special festival food. In this occasion, it’s Yuan Xiao 圓宵，or Tang Yuan 湯圓 in south of China.
Signed , dated and stamped with stone seals carved by myself which one bears my name, and other two are best wishes & plum blossom.

I have also added some calligraphy artwork 花好月圓人長久 which is in half cursive script. It is one phrase from a Song poem by Zhang Xian 张先, which means in the blissful moment that person I care and love will stay well and live forever. 花長開，月長圓，人長久！
