✨ The Experience
In this hands-on masterclass, Jing will guide you through each stage of the classical mounting process. You will learn how to handle delicate Xuan paper (rice paper) with absolute care and precision—from preparing the paste to smoothing, backing, and drying the artwork.
This is the exact method used by masters in China to preserve artwork for decades, preparing it to be turned into scrolls, album pages, or frames. You will mount a piece of your own calligraphy/painting from a previous workshop, or use a beautiful practice piece provided by Jing.
🌟 Workshop Highlights
- A Rare Craft: Learn an endangered, highly sought-after archival skill that is rarely taught outside of China.
