You will learn to sketch your design, transfer your chosen characters, and safely carve them into soft stone using traditional specialized tools.
You will explore different seal script styles (篆书) and learn how to balance form and empty space. If you do not have a Chinese name, Jing can help you translate yours or select meaningful characters to create a bespoke artist signature. By the end of the night, you will have a personalized stone seal ready to stamp your own paintings, calligraphy, or letters.
