A beautiful seasonal composition to welcome Chinese New Year.

Chinese daffodils (Narcissus), known as Shuixian (水仙) or "water goddess," are beloved subjects in Chinese painting, symbolising purity, good fortune, new beginnings, and scholarly virtue,, often painted in monochrome ink or with delicate colour washes on rice paper, especially around the New Year, with plum blossoms. They are depicted with their distinct white petals, yellow cups, and tall green leaves, often emerging from water or in pots, embodying elegance and spiritual purity.

To ensure the best attention for each participant during live, the course is limited to a  group of up to 10 people.

You will learn to:

• Explore techniques and styles of renowned Chinese artists

• Load and blend ink for expressive brushwork

• Build layers through washes and colour

• Paint wildflowers, mountains, birds, reeds, water, and Taihu stones

By the end of each month, you’ll complete at least 1–2 finished artworks.
