Join us for an afternoon of creativity and calm as we explore the graceful spirit of bamboo through traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy.
What You’ll Learn:

How to dilute ink to create at least five distinct shades of grey

Load and blend colours in a single brushstroke

Master brush control and expressive stroke techniques

Apply vibrant washes for depth and movement

Add inscriptions (題款) and poetic calligraphy to finish your artwork
You’ll work on different types of Xuan rice paper, with your final piece created on pre-mounted Xuan rice paper.
🎨 Materials: All materials are provided. If you have your own tools, you’re welcome to select the "Bring My Own Set" option.
✨ A curated selection of high-quality brushes, rice paper, and pigments — recently sourced from China — will be available for purchase during the workshop.
